I’m Kalpitha, a User Experience (UX) Designer based in Seattle with extensive experience advancing end-to-end product development in the digital inclusion space. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human-Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. 

As a multidisciplinary designer with a background in architectural design, I facilitate design processes through a systems thinking approach by being mindful of the interrelations between the various aspects involved in any particular intervention. I constantly strive to understand the nuances in people’s lived experiences by empowering end-users to have a voice in the process to generate mediums that accelerate problem resolution. 

My experience in diverse domains spanning across rural and urban environments has led me to believe that a user’s experiential reality should be the primary focus and not an afterthought and this leads me to my interest at the intersection of user-centered design and digital inclusion.
